Psalm 121

In My Appreciation,My gratitude,My Hiking on 15/08/2014 by catherineyylam

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

A beautiful and peaceful afternoon, saturated hue, fantastic blue, clear breeze, sharp view……

and of course,

delicious food, beverages, and warm chat with the local hardworking lady chef : )

Shing Mun Reservoir & Tao Fung Shan, under clear blue sky

In My Appreciation,My Art,My Hiking on 03/02/2014 by catherineyylam

The clear blue sky and fresh air were being missed for long, thanks for the east wind  and lunar new year.  The nice weather gave rich hue and tone to the landscape and its reflection.  The lion rock was rarely seen from the main dam.  What a wonderful treat to have an ice-cream cone post jog.  The blue sky made me unstoppable , I inevitably go on to enjoy such soothing sunlight further at Tao Fung Shan.  Though I have been there many times,  the scene this time was most beautiful I have ever seen.

This place is one of my favorites.  Every time I prepared to get there,  I just spared a few hours as it is so familiar to me, however, when I had to leave there each time, I blamed myself that I should have arrived much earlier, as each experience has been making me so enjoyable.

The sustaining rainfall this summer contributed high level of water reserve for this dry season.   The wonderful sunlight not only brought out vivid colour, but also initiated shadows and reflections to symphonize with each other, delivering such an amazing and beautiful scenery.
